Sahrdaya College of Engineering & Technology is founded
by the Catholic Diocese of Irinjalakuda, a Christian
minority, in the year 2002 as a part of the Diocesan
Silver Jubilee
Memorial Educational Complex. His Excellency Mar. James
Pazhayattil blessed the college on 22nd June,
which is the date of execution of the Diocese of Irinjalakuda
and the nomination
of the first Bishop, 24 years before. The primary focus
of the college is to expose the young minds to the world
of science and technology, instilling in them confidence
to face the challenges of the changing world

expertise, Dr. M.S. Jayadeva, Retd. Principal of J.S.S. College of
Engineering, Mysore is the Principal.

STRENGTH OF FACULTY
Highly
qualified and experienced permanent faculty has displayed dedication by
involving themselves in the college building programme. In addition to
their classroom duties., they are available as guides and mentors to
the students. Members of the staff are also engaged in number of research
projects. Most of the staff have been selected from institutions like
IIT's, Regional Engineering Colleges and reputed colleges of other
Universities.
