Christian Media are aimed at instructing and guiding the faithful which may further the salvation and perfection of themselves and of the entire human family. To spread the good truth and to help the common good of the people of the world is the intention of the Christian media. All the parties concerned should adopt for themselves a proper moral outlook on the use of the media, especially with respect to certain questions that have been vigorously aired in our day. This means that in both the search for news and in reporting it, there must be a full respect for the laws of morality and for the legitimate rights and dignity of the individual. With this ecclesial notion of media let me introduce to you the renewed website of the Diocese of Irinjalakuda. The historical importance of the Diocese of Irinjalakuda, since it is the cradle of Catholic Faith in India (St, Thomas the Apostle of Jesus Christ came to from Kodungallur in 52 AD and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ) and the cultural and religious fame of this land have compelled us to initiate this venture. Truth as the disclosure of reality is to be imparted with integrity and responsibility. So this human Endeavour is simultaneously a holy challenge. Through this website we envisage a mutual collaboration and communication in the spiritual, pastoral, ecclesiastical, human and rational realms among the parishes and, between parishes and the administration of the Diocese. May I take this august opportunity to convey my deepest sense of gratitude to my predecessor, Reverend Joseph Thekkethala who initiated this venture.

The Renewed Website is the result of the painstaking labor of many generous hands viz., The Executive Director of Sahrdaya College of Engineering, Kodakara and young energetic team of Sahrdaya-tech Thrissur Infopark and the members of the Website Committee Rev. Dr. Anto Chungath, Rev. Fr. Andrews Maliekal, Rev. Fr. Lindo Kuttikadan and Rev. Fr. Jijo Vakaparambil. Hope the information given from this web will help the faithful to have an integral vision of realities of God, Man and World.
