      Abhaya Bhavan, a dependable Home for the incurables, is a charitable concern of the Diocese of Irinjalakuda, opened on 19th March, 1994. The inmates of this house are physically handicapped by birth and accident and who are perpetually sick which cannot be cured even by modern medical technology. This home welcomes everybody irrespective of caste, creed, age or sex. The unfortunate brothern and children of this house need spiritual, mental, and physical help and solace. Our staff-Rev. Sisters of Nirmala Dasikal- takes it as a previlage and compete each other to render love and service to them. Therefore, the inmates do really enjoy here real peace and serenity, which they usually do not get from elsewhere. Often Abhaya Bhavan has to bring abandoned desperate brothern from the street and government hospitals. They too find peace in life and get a peaceful death here. Through the building has the capacity to give accommodation to 60 patients, due to the financial and other limitations, Abhaya Bhavan is not in a position to welcome the cry of these unfortunate brothers and sisters from different parts of the State. Since, we give free food, medicine, dress, etc., the financial liability incurred upon us, is so big. At present there are 35 patients in Abhaya Bhavan; of whom 10 are children below 10 years of age. We are not getting any grant from the government or other agencies. To increase the number of admission and to meet out the expenses of the present patients, we are relying on the good will of benefactors like you. So please be kind enough to share your fortune with these unfortunates. We assure our prayers for you.
